BROCKVILLE, ON, June 23, 2026 — Sherwood Park Manor (the Manor), a non profit, non municipal long-term care home serving Brockville and the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Marshall as the new Chair of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Marshall succeeds outgoing Chair Ken Durand Sr., who completed his term with distinction and continues to serve as a valued member of the Board.


Mr. Marshall brings a strong record of leadership, community service, and governance experience to the Manor's Board of Directors. His commitment to seniors’ care, combined with his deep understanding of the region’s needs, positions him to guide Sherwood Park Manor through an important period of growth and renewal.

As Chair, Mr. Marshall will oversee governance priorities, support strategic planning, and work closely with the Board, leadership team, and community partners to ensure Sherwood Park Manor continues to provide high quality, compassionate long-term care for residents and families across Brockville and the surrounding region.


Mr. Marshall expressed his appreciation for the confidence placed in him by the Board. “It is an honour to serve as Chair during such a transformative time for Sherwood Park Manor,” he said. “I look forward to working with our dedicated Board members, staff, volunteers, and community supporters as we build on our strong foundation and continue to enhance the lives of those we serve.”
