Brockville coffee shops partner with Sherwood Park Manor for April fundraiser

Sherwood Park Manor, the non-profit long-term care home, is inviting Brockville residents to support their seniors and long-term care workers through their coffee fundraiser 'Grounds for Growth'.

'Grounds for Growth' is a month-long campaign that began on National Caregiver Day, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, a Sherwood Park Manor press release detailed. The campaign encourages patrons at downtown coffee shops Cosie's Tea Room and Richard's Coffeehouse to support the Manor through their purchases.

Customers can support the Manor in two ways. They can round their purchase at the participating coffee shops to the nearest dollar, with 100 per cent of the money supporting the Manor. Alternatively, they can purchase a coffee credit for a local long-term care worker which care workers can redeem throughout the month, the release noted.
