Sherwood Park Manor Announces Fundraising Committee for the ‘Legacy of Care’ Fundraising Campaign.
Sherwood Park Manor, one of the most established Long-Term Care Centre in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is pleased to announce the formation of its Capital Fund Development Committee. The Committee is tasked with spearheading the fundraising efforts to raise $5 million dollars for its major expansion of the Centre. This group of distinguished local leaders are dedicated to supporting the community’s seniors and ensuring they have access to exceptional care and facilities.
Alfred O’Rourke, recently retired from the Manor, has been appointed as the Campaign Chair of the fundraising Committee. Mr. O’Rourke expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to contribute to the enhancement of Sherwood Park Manor. Our seniors deserve the very best, and I am honoured to be leading the charge in a volunteer capacity, ensuring they have access to modern, comfortable facilities.”
In addition to Mr. O’Rourke, the Committee is proud to announce the appointment of Senator Bob Runciman, lifelong Brockville resident, and politician, as its Honorary Chair. Mr. Runciman shared his sentiments on joining the Committee, stating, “It is a true honour to be part of such a worthy cause. Sherwood Park Manor holds a special place in our community, and I am committed to working alongside my fellow Committee members to ensure its continued success in serving our seniors.”
