OPP and GTA Police Warn of New ‘Grandparent Scam’ in Ontario
In recent weeks, the OPP and Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre received reports of fraudsters contacting taxi companies, requesting them to go to long term care homes to retrieve funds from victims targeted in the Emergency – Grandparent Scams.
